Before finding my way to the Internet, I studied rhetoric and philosophy at Arizona State University where I received a degree in Communication Studies. At that time I was on track towards becoming a professor of philosophy.
Previous to making my way to ASU, I studied photography and journalism whereby I found myself laying out newspapers professionally before the Internet decimated them.
For a time I was an aspiring photojournalist and managed to contribute to a few publications as a freelance photographer. I still maintain a portfolio of my work from those days.
Going back further, I spent a lot of time playing the drums, hanging out at the local 711, and tinkering with 1960’s American muscle cars.
